POST-SURGICAL: Sophia is intended for post-surgical use after breast surgery, especially mastectomy. The main function of Sophia is to fixate and support both the treated and swollen breast as well as a potential healthy breast, assist a speedy wound healing, and provide optimum user comfort.

OPTIMUM SUPPORT: The wide shoulder straps provide optimum support to a treated as well as a potential healthy breast and ensure that no pressure marks or uncomfortable shoulder indentations will occur.

COMFORT: The bra is seamlessly knitted and has no seams in critical areas, i.a. on or around the cups, on the sides or the armpits like seen in most competitive bras. For superior skin friendliness and comfort, the bra has a wide and soft under bust band that also allows easy and untroubled drainage.

EASY TO USE: Front opening with a strong zipper for superior hold and it has a big puller for easy grip. The behind zipper is with soft padding with full coverage for superior skin friendliness and has contrast coloured hook-&-eyes for easy identification and application. Openable shoulder straps with adjustable hook-and-loop fastener. Loop part is made of soft velour. Hook part with strong and solid grip.

Breast Care Products Offering Support: - Support and full freedom of movement

FRONT OF THE BRA: Your breasts must be completely contained in the cup and not spilling over the top or sides of the bra. If you have large breasts and it feels like the bra does not contain the breast, we recommend you to try a larger size or another Carefix model.

BACK OF THE BRA: The rib band of the bra must sit horizontally below the shoulder blades.

STRAPS: The straps must stay in place and not keep falling off or dig into your shoulders. Adjust the straps to a comfortable length, where the bust is lifted, and the back of the bra is below your shoulder blades.

IF MEASUREMENT IS DONE PRE-SURGERY: You might need the bra 1-2 sizes larger than indicated by the Carefix size chart, due to post-surgical swelling. If you have a Carefix bra with cup division (e.g. one bra covers cup A-C and one D-F), you might need a larger cup size compared to the size indicated in the Carefix size chart pre-surgery. Seek advice from your surgeon, nurse or dealer for correct size identification.

For more compression go down one size and for less compression go up one size.
